My new Country Home

The first pictures of our new house were kindly given away by our friend and photographer Davide Gazzotti, that a few days ago came to visit us and between a chat and the other had fun (hopefully) to capture some corners of the living area.
His photos, once opened, excited us very much and I could not help but post them in this article.
Article that I’d have liked to write long before now. Which instead, however, due to time constraints I’ve never been able to do. Then, after six months since we bought it, I speak for the first time about it, the house that we looked for continuously for two years and that in the end, not knowing that it was for sale, we were able to find. Almost flush would say, ’cause we did not even know there was a house at the bottom of that path in the woods.
Then two years of researches, one of negotiation, and from June we are here on a permanent basis, taken to arrange the garden and ourselves…
The house is made with the typical stone of the area, it dates back to 19th century and has retained only part of the old types. It will be our intention to maintain and enhance existing ones, and remove the following works made over the years and who do not marry with the set. The work ahead of us will be long and difficult, but my goal will be always the use of simplicity and linearity, without overdoing it and using the top of my knowledge and my feeling for the interior design.
Di seguito le foto di Davide, quelle contrassegnate con il logo DG-LIGHT e alcune mie, quelle senza alcun logo.
Below the pictures of Davide (those marked with the DG-LIGHT logo) and some of mine, those without any logo.
