I’m back

Two months challenging, but in the end here I am again, with all my new projects.
After only two years of stay, we had to leave the house in which I had set up my studio and my lab, where I laid the foundation for my recovery activities and design, and where many of my works have taken shape. I left there many memories, more or less interesting, but as they always say in these situations, better to look ahead. So here I am in this new home, with a new study to set up and, in fact, so many projects to be implemented.
The house is large, it will take me months to reset: meanwhile, however, between a job and the other, I enjoy the view with cats and garden.

The view from here is wonderful: yesterday, the day clear and serene, it gave us a glimpse of the Euganean Hills and Alpine foothills.

Vegetation is lush, the hedge is full of blackberries that are ready to harvest in August, and my plants seem to appreciate the new air.

For now, one of the most amusing challenges has been building my future kitchen: I had so much material to be reused, especially wooden tables, so I thought I’d create it all by myself, including the top and some small furniture.
The color of the wood is clear and warm, so I made contrast with a wall made with rough sheets of galvanized iron, which have cool colors, blue-gray: the result is simple and delicate, although wood and especially zinc, give it an industrial touch that I’d like to emphasize with iron boxes for electrical wires and neon lights.
This is the actual result, which has yet to be completed.
