“The house I live in” illustration competition

I casually participated in an illustration competition titled “The House I Live In”, just before my move in the new house.
The first image aroused by the title was the one I realized … it was born in one go, and I designed it so, just as it came up. Lucky image, because I’ve been selected to the exhibition of August 30 that will be held in Fano. There, the first winners will be designated.
Aside from the title given, the theme was free enough, both as to the technique we could use, either because the house could be understood in various ways, from the real and physical, to the idea of a more intangible home.
I chose the first interpretation, even though my illustration left the boundaries of reality, describing the situation with a narrative language and absurd. The title I have chosen is “A guest at breakfast”, where I am the guest of the house, invited to breakfast by my cats, the real hosts: Barone, Alice, Dante, Oscar, Rémy, Mimmone and Pepper.

For the moment I can share with you the picture, hoping not to break the Regulation …
