Fishes and wood in my new library

Last year, in French Brittany, I discovered a talented artist called Dilo: she recovers old boats’ wood and paints fishes of her region on them. I bought a table with black, white and greys, and during the restoration of my library (I painted it with slate-gray), I thought it would have been on the same wall. On the library I also arranged mushrooms made by a friend of mine with the nodes in the fir trunk near my home. This morning, a brown moth was sleeping on the grey: mix of colors is wonderful!

A few days ago, recovering some wood tables, I found a lot of old mason iron stairs: I’ve chosen one of them, and put it in front of my library…I love the colors peeling.

Here other works of Dilo, and her website: http://www.lespoissonsdedilo.com/
