Raw Ideas
A new package is arrived…
I opened it excited as it always happens to me. My new stamps have arrived.
It took me a long time to arrive at a set that could convince me, suitable for making a stamp that represented myself. And the idea came by chance one night at dinner, while I presented the problems I had every time I changed size, image or font.
“Raw Ideas”: two words I tossed to describe what I was going to communicate, and raw ideas remained. The “I” is the stem of the leaf, the font is the one of the internet site, but with letter “e” inverted, to give the impression of something imperfect, that still works.
I like that it can be used both vertically and horizontally, and the leaf, as well as having a sense related to something that I’m preparing at the moment, is the perfect symbol to describe in a few lines something simple and totally natural.
The ink colors I chose are red and emerald green that I can not wait to roll out the puff. The risk that I begin to stamp everything…

July 31, 2014ciao Sandra, sono una grande estimatrice del tuo lavoro. Ho scoperto da poco il tuo blog e mi sono persa a sognare nei tuoi post. Da ogni tuo lavoro traspare uno stile unico e inimitabile perchè è espressione della tua anima. Mi piace ciò che crei e tutti gli accostamenti che fai sono al contempo semplici e molto ricercati. Anche io sono appassionata di recupero creativo, ma in una veste differente, più legata alle suggestioni dello shabby.
